Depending on the different project axes, various equipment will be used: from the most complex acquisition system (Axis 1) to the simplest and lightest for tracking (Axis 3), and a gamified VR/AR remobilization system for Axis 2.
Axe 1 : Evaluate
This application is based on various mobility tests (including the TUG) performed in immersive virtual reality (or augmented reality) to stimulate patients in conditions close to their daily reality.
We selected the HTC XR Elite headset because it features: Hand-tracking API enabling natural hand interactions without controllers, Passthrough capability for seamless VR and AR use, Optional eye-tracking module for enhanced interaction

Additionally, HTC Ultimate trackers and wrist trackers will be used due to their high precision in capturing the user’s trunk and limb positions during activities.
Physiological signals will be recorded using the TEA Captiv system (https://www.teaergo.com/captiv/), featuring minimally invasive wireless sensors.
The entire evaluation application is developed using: C# integration for interfacing HTC and TEA APIs with Unity, Unity for real-time serious game development, Blender for 3D modeling
Axe 2 : Stimulate
Axis 2 focuses on patient remobilization through VR and AR exergames. This immersive VR/AR rehabilitation application, controllable by the practitioner, enables the creation of a “virtual prescription” with a customized list of exercises for the patient to perform through the application.
For Axis 2, our partner Mist Studio (https://www.miststudio.fr/) has selected the Meta Quest 3 VR/AR headset. This cutting-edge device offers excellent technical specifications and is user-friendly.

Axe 3 : Suivre
Axis 3 focuses on the longitudinal tracking of user mobility. To this end, our partner Cybernano (https://cybernano.eu/fr/accueil/) conducted a study to select an IMU (Inertial Measurement Unit) sensor that meets both user requirements and technical specifications, including: Bluetooth data transfer time to smartphone, Weight, Storage capacity, Battery life.
